‘Today Is Friday’ wins big at TwetFest

The TweetFest short film competition has awarded Iranian short flick ‘Today Is Friday’.

Directed by Mohammad Ahangar, the 14-minute flick grabbed the Best Short Film award at the English fest’s 7th edition.

The film tells the story of Nader and Saeed who are two colleagues in a company.

While they are arguing with each other over their problems in the company; suddenly, something happens that causes some changes in their destinies.

It has Azadeh Seifi, Farid Qobadi, Kaveh Ahangar, and Pedram Jame-Bozorg on the cast list.

‘Today Is Friday’ has already taken part in a number of global events, including the MIKROFAF Film Festival in Serbia, the Canberra Short Film Festival in Australia, and the Santa Fe Film Festival in the US.

The TweetFest is the only networking event of its kind in the UK with the aim of providing a fresh and affordable platform for industry professionals to meet in person and create incredible opportunities in film, television and theatre.

This year’s edition of the event was held on November 28-30.
